Corrugated Boxes and Sheets

Corner boards, also known as edge protectors, are an essential part of industrial packaging, designed to stabilize, protect, and reinforce the corners and edges of palletized goods during transport and storage. They are typically made from layers of recycled paperboard or plastic, molded into right-angle profiles that provide structural support to packages. The thickness of corner boards can vary depending on the material and the specific needs of the application, impacting their strength and protective qualities.

Shrink bundling films are typically made from polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), or polyolefin, each offering different properties to suit various packaging needs. Polyethylene is the most commonly used due to its strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Polyolefin films are preferred for their excellent clarity and shrink rate, as well as being FDA approved for direct food contact.

The films are produced by blowing or casting the polymer into a thin film, which is then oriented in one or both directions to create a film that will shrink when heated. This orientation process determines the strength, clarity, and shrink properties of the film.

Shrink bundling films are designed to be strong, durable, and resistant to punctures and tears. They have excellent clarity for retail display and provide a good barrier against moisture and dust. When heated (typically with a heat gun or through a shrink tunnel), these films conform tightly to the shape of the products, securing them together and providing a tamper-evident seal.
